Quiz Bowl at The University of Texas at Dallas
Quiz Bowl is a highly competitive academic competition that pits two teams of students against each other in a test of knowledge and speed. The contest tests both the depth and breadth of a team's fast and accurate recall of academic subjects, current events, and popular culture. If you have participated in Academic Decathlon, Quiz Bowl, Whiz Quiz, Academic Challenge, or just have a keen interest in academic competitions, you will find Quiz Bowl much to your liking.
An intercollegiate pursuit, our team travels across the state and the nation in order to attend tournaments being hosted by other universities. Through such intellectual battles, we strive to cover our university and ourselves with academic honor and glory.
Typically our team will meet twice a week to practice, with the meeting times to be set each semester and posted below.
